ROME - Inter's transfer market consultant Gabriele Oriali has confirmed the transfer of Amantino Mancini to Inter. "We have reached an economic agreement with Roma, which will be ratified next week when the player arrives," he said.
Speaking to Sky Sport Italia after a meeting with technical director Marco Branca and Roma officials in the capital, Oriali added: "Both sides are satisfied. We hope that Mancini can do as well as Cristian Chivu did for us last season.
"Mancini is an important player for us. It wasn't easy but in the end we reached this agreement, so we are happy."
Oriali, who said that no players were part of the deal for Mancini and declined to provide figures, was less optimistic about the arrival of Lampard. "It's a bit more complicated," he said. "We hope that in the end we can solve this one positively too."
